Judges, who would like to take part at the judging seminar on May 17, 2019 in Berlin, must send their application on this email: firstname.lastname@example.org with the headline – “Judging Seminar”.
In the case of successful passing of the seminar and the exam, the participants of this seminar have a chance to be chosen as official judges for the 2nd Youth KWU Kyokushin European Championship in Berlin 2019. Candidates for judging will pay all their expenses themsleves.

Participation: Representatives of national federations, who have passed national qualifying championships with calling in all interested groups of Kyokushin in a particular country at the age from 12 to 17 years and up to 3 fighters from each country in each weight category.
All participants must submit:
- a medical health certificate with doctor’s permission for participation, which is not older than 3 months,
- birth certificate or passport + budo passport,
- valid insurance license or insurance card (original) ,
- declaration of consent from a parent.
The quota for WKO Shinkyokushinkai
The competitors from WKO Shinkyokushinkai, who wish to participate in the 2nd Youth KWU Kyokushin European Championship (kumite) in weight categories, should contact their Branch Chiefs, who would inform about this request the WKO
Start fee: 30 € for each fighter (the starting contribution includes a gift package to the participant, a lunch package in the days of a tournament, accommodation of official judges in days of holding of the 2nd Youth KWU Kyokushin European Championship).

The age of the fighters is determined on the day of passing the credentials committee, which is May 17, 2019.
Timing of bouts:
Age category “boys/ girls” (12-13 years)
Preliminary fights: 2 minutes + 1 minute
Semifinals – and final fights: 2 minutes + 1 minute + weight check (difference 2,5 kg. and more) + 1 minute
Age category “boys/ girls” (14-15 years)
Preliminary fights: 2 minutes + 2 minute
Semifinals – and final fights: 2 minutes + 2 minute + weight check (difference 2,5 kg. and more) + 1 minute
Age category “boys/ girls” (16-17 years)
Preliminary fights: 2 minutes + 2 minute
Semifinals – and final fights: 2 minutes + 2 minute + weight check (difference 2,5 kg. and more) + 2 minute
Each fighter, allowed to participate in competitions, must have:
- white karategi and a belt, representing fighter’s qualification;
- individual groin shell: for boys – mandatory, for girls – voluntary;
- protectors for shin and insteps – mandatory;
- knee pads, elbow pads – voluntary;
- hand mittens – mandatory;
- headgear – mandatory for all;
- chest protector of a standard type – for girls;
- gum shield (oral cavity protector), white color – voluntary.
If there are brackets on teeth, gum shield is mandatory.
All protection items must have a mark of KWU.
All participants will have possibility to purchase protection items before the credentials commission.
ATTENTION! All protection items must be individual; each fighter must have his own!
The organizer will pay the following charges:
– lunch for fighters on the both days of the championship – May 18-19, 2019
– lunch for official judges on May 17-19, 2019
– accommodation of official judges, who are chosen for judging at the 2nd Youth European Championship KWU 2019, May 17-20, 2019 in twin rooms in an accredited hotel (breakfast included)
– transfer for accredited judges: hotel – arena – hotel on the days of the championship.
Accredited judges and competitors on their own will cover all the other expenses.
The organizer will not cover any expenses of other groups of participants of this tournament.

11:00 – 20:00 – credentials committee
18:00 – 20:00 – the judging seminar (hotel Pro-Social – Blumberger Damm 12/14)
10:00 – Arrival in the sports hall of competitions, preparation.
10:30 – the Meeting of coaches and judges.
11:00 – the beginning of preliminary fight.
14:00 – lunch break, demonstration performances.
14:30 – a parade, opening ceremony of the 2nd Youth KWU Kyokushin
15:00 – continuing fights up to semifinals (in each category at the end will be only

14:00 – lunch breaks, demonstration performances.
17:00 – Awarding of the winners, a photo shooting.
